As much as I love a good fantasy movie or sci-fi thriller, there’s nothing more exciting than knowing that the movie you’re watching is based on real AF events – unless, of course, that we were talking about horror movies based on real stories. , because NO. Movies based on true stories allow you to learn a little more about a historical event or influential figure than before, and while we’ve got plenty of great movies based on a true story in 2021, the best movies in 2022’s true story looks even more promising, if that’s possible. Thank you Hollywood!!

K, so you might think it’s lazy to base a movie on an actual event (especially since Hollywood is already full of reboots, remakes, sequels, and movies based on books). Nevertheless! Personally, I live for a biopic done right, and you might change your mind when you see what’s in store for you in 2022. This year, you can expect to see the highly anticipated biopics of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and Whitney. Houston, to name a few, as well as a wild WWII saga, western drama, and completely bonkers, utterly unauthorized Celine Dion movie that has to be seen to be believed.
