battery line is a 2002 coming-of-age comedy/drama starring Nick Cannon. Cannon plays Devon Miles, a teenager from Harlem who dreams of being part of his college’s legendary marching band, Atlanta A&T University. Things seem to be going well for the ambitious student as he joins the band and lands a girlfriend early on. However, his arrogant attitude begins to clash with another student in the group, forcing him to dive deep to find what it takes to succeed.
