Starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, Atrangi Re is directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film is a twisted love triangle in which a Tamil boy Vishnu is forced to marry Rinku, a girl from Bihar. Rinku is madly in love with Sajjad.

ENCANTO – DISNEY + HOTSTAR

Encanto’s story revolves around a magical family – the Madrigals who are endowed with special power and decide to help the locals. Mirabel, the youngest member of the family, does not benefit from any particular power.

SATYAMEVA JAYATE 2 – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

This film is the sequel to the 2018 patriotic drama Satyameva Jayate. The film stars John Abraham in a triple role. The film’s script revolves around a politician, Satya Balram Azaad, who wanted to pass a Lok Sabha-style anti-corruption bill, but due to lack of votes the bill was not passed. He goes into vigilante mode and kills corrupt officials.

MINNAL MURALI – NETFLIX

Directed by Basil Joseph, this film stars Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Guru Somasundaram and Azees Nedumangad in the lead roles. This Malayalam film Minnal Murali is about a tailor who gains superhero powers and must fight the crime that is happening in his village.

LONG WEEK-END – STREAM BOOKMYSHOW

Directed by Steve Basilone, Long Weekend stars Steve Basilone, Jennifer Irwin, Jess Jacobs and Finn Wittrock in leading roles. Long Weekend is about a struggling writer meeting a woman, and their love affair leads to various unexpected revelations that are interesting to watch.

DON’T SEARCH – NETFLIX

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill in the lead roles, this sci-fi comedy was one of the most anticipated English films this week. The story of the film is about a graduate student in astronomy and her professor, Dr. Randall Mindy, who take a media tour and soon herald a planet-killer comet rushing towards earth that will destroy everything.
