ABOUT PRATAP POTHEN
Pratap Pothen was born on August 13, 1952. In 1985 he married Radikaa Sarathkumar. The two separated a year later. Then he got married to Amala Satyanath Pothen who passed away in 2012. Both are Keya’s parents.
During his long career, Pratap has acted in more than 100 films in several languages. Apart from being an actor, he has also written film scripts, directed and produced many notable films.
He made his acting debut with director Bharathan’s Aaravam, released in 1978. The actor won awards for his performances in Thakara, Meendum Oru Kadhal kadhai, 22 Female Kottayam and Chamaram, among other films. Rithubhehedam, Oru Yathramozhi, Chaitanya and Daisy are some of the films he has made.
