After Sita Ramam, Dulquer Salmaan in Vilasini Memorial?

Dulquer Salmaan recently scored a big hit with Sita Ramam, which opened on August 5. The romantic drama received rave reviews, with critics praising her performance. Now here’s some more big news for DQ fans. Dulquer is said to have finalized his next project. The star is apparently set to headline a Malayalam comedy artist titled Vilasini Memorial. It will be directed by Praveen Chandran. The Vilasini memorial should go upstairs from Wednesday August 17.

DULQUER SALMAAN SIGNS HIS NEXT FILM?

Dulquer Salmaan returned to the Telugu film industry with Sita Ramam, which emerged as a major box office hit. The young idol is now ready to turn his attention to Mollywood again. DQ is reportedly in talks to star in a rural comedy titled Vilasini Memorial. The film will be written by Deepu Pradeep. Chemban Vinod Jose and Soubin Shahir are also expected to be part of the cast. Anend C Chandran, best known for his work in Nivin Pauly’s Premam and Mammootty-directed Bheeshma Parvam, is set to shoot the camera for Vilasini Memorial.

CHARGED PERIOD TO DULQUE?

Dulquer Salmaan, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the labor front. The star will be seen alongside National Award winner Rajkummar Rao in Raj and DK’s upcoming web series, Guns and Gulaabs. The Mollywood sensation is preparing to start work on the Malayalam film, King of Kotha. The crime drama could star Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the female lead role. If things go as planned, this will mark Sam’s Mollywood debut and his first film with DQ. The two were previously part of Mahanati but had no scenes together.

Dulquer also has the Hindi film directed by R Balki, Chup, in his chat. This will be his third Bollywood film after Karwaan (2018) and The Zoya Factor (2019), directed by Sonam Kapoor. Chup also stars Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
