After Vadivelu, director Suraj tests positive for Covid-19

A few days after Vadivelu tested positive for Covid-19, director Suraj also contracted the virus. The two recently returned from London after completing pre-production work on their upcoming film, Naai Sekar Returns. Music director Santosh Narayanan and his wife, Meenakshi, also went with Vadivelu and Suraj. Apparently, Vadivelu and Suraj are receiving treatment at a private hospital in Chennai.

DIRECTOR SURAJ TESTS COVID POSITIVE

Vadivelu took the internet by storm when pictures of him from London went viral. The actor returned to Chennai earlier this week. Three days ago it was reported that he had contracted the novel coronavirus. He was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Center in Porur, Chennai.

Now director Suraj has tested positive for the virus. He was also admitted to a private hospital for treatment. The rest of the Naai Sekar Returns crew have self-isolated at their residences.

Naai Sekar Returns marks the comeback of legendary actor and comedian Vadivelu. The film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. More cast and crew details will be announced in the coming months.

Vadivelu was supposed to make a comeback with director Shankar’s production company Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikecei. However, the film was scrapped due to creative differences between Vadivelu and Shankar.
