Akshay Kumar has completed his upcoming movie Raksha Bandhan. The actor shared a funny photo with Raksha Bandhan director Aanand L Rai and said goodbye to the film crew.

Parts of Raksha Bandhan were filmed in Delhi, Akshay’s birthplace. Earlier, Akshay shared a touching message, as well as a video of him shooting Chandni Chowk in Delhi. Today, the actor said a moving farewell to the Raksha Bandhan team. Cherishing his time with Aanand L Rai, he wrote: “Here’s everything me and @aanandlrai did throughout the filming of #RakshaBandhan – laugh like there’s no tomorrow! Akshay Kumar announced the film on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in 2020. He also dedicated the film to his sister Alka Bhatia. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, who will most likely play Akshay’s sister in the film. Raksha Bandhan will take on Prabhas’ Adipurush at the box office on August 11, 2022.
