The actress, however, did not participate in the same. Anupama has now addressed his absence from the film’s promotional events. Karthikeya 2 is a supernatural thriller, written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

Anupama Parameswaran, who was last seen in the Telugu romantic comedy Ante Sundaraniki, is awaiting the release of Karthikeya 2 directed by Nikhil Siddharth. She has yet to join his promotions, however. The actress has now opened up about her decision not to take part in her promotional events.
Anupama wrote on Twitter that she couldn’t dedicate time to Karthikeya 2 due to her busy schedule. The star said she was filming for two projects, which kept her from being associated with his promotional activities. She further pointed out that the release date of Karthikeya 2 has been postponed several times which has led to this unfortunate situation. The Preman star then wished the team well with the film.
“Hey, I just wanted to clarify why I’m not able to join the Karthikeya promotions. I’ve been shooting continuously Day and Night for two more films – which have combined dates from other artists that were long planned, but unfortunately there were so many changes in Karthikeya release date and things are a little tight on that side hope you all understand the difficulty,” she tweeted.

Karthikeya follows the 2014 hit of the same name. It is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and will be its first theatrical release after the commercial failure Savyasachi (2018). The cast includes Anupam Kher, Srinivasa Reddy, and Adithya Menon, among others. Karthikeya 2 is produced by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad.
