Akshay Kumar’s highly anticipated films – Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, RakshaBandhan and Ram Setu – also got their respective release dates. However, no announcement has been made regarding the actor’s other upcoming film, Atrangi Re.
OTT MAY BE THE MEDIUM OF CHOICE FOR ATRANGI RE: AKSHAY KUMAR
Akshay packed Atrangi Re in March of this year. Now, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Khiladi Kumar has revealed that the creators of Atrangi Re are considering releasing the film on OTT. Speaking of the same, Akshay said: “To be honest, I haven’t included Atrangi Re on the list yet because we’re still thinking about whether it should be a theatrical movie or a movie theatrical. ‘an OTT exit. And OTT may just be the medium of choice for Atrangi Re, as it looks right now. “
Akshay also believes that OTT would be the best platform to release Atrangi Re. He said, “The film has a fantastic subject and story, never heard before. For me and Anand Rai it is essential that the platform the most suitable is chosen for the film. “

Atrangi Re, directed by Aanand L Rai, is a cross-cultural love story. It features Sara Ali Khan in a dual role. It’s a love story in which Sara will be seen romanticizing Dhanush as well as Akshay.
