Aang must learn the sacred art of bending – the ability to manipulate the elements. Inexperienced but potentially all-powerful, Aang’s training takes him (along with Katara and Sokka) on fascinating journeys through all four nations – the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and the Air Nomads. Throughout their time together, they encounter helpful friends (such as Avatar Roku, Aang’s previous incarnation) and a growing list of enemies (namely, the Fire Nation’s Prince Zuko). They must learn who they can and cannot trust as Aang tries to reach his full potential and bring peace to the world.
