It was reported that the actress was gravely ill and was admitted to hospital for treatment. However, Samantha’s manager Mahendra dispelled rumors about the actress’ hospitalization through her publicist.

On December 13, Samantha traveled to Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh for a store launch. After the event, she went to Ameen Peer Dargah in Kadapa to offer her blessings. Before that, Samantha went to Tirupati Lord Venkateshwara temple for darshan.
Samantha’s manager shared a statement regarding her health. Her publicist, Vamsi Shekar, wrote: “Samantha is in perfect health. She developed a mild cough and was tested yesterday at AIG hospitals in Hyderabad. She is currently resting at home. Don’t believe the rumors. Samantha is perfectly fine. . “

Samantha was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man 2, directed by Raj and DK. The actress has completed the shooting of two films. She is now awaiting the release of director Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam and Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
She recently started shooting for her pan-Indian film Yashoda, directed by Hari and Hareesh. Samantha is also fluent in Tamil-Telugu with Shantharuban. Also, she signed her first foreign film, Arrangements of Love, which will be released in August 2022.
