Jackie Shroff has been named the Goodwill Ambassador for the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival. The environmental film festival returns with its second edition on October 9 and will end on October 17. Jackie shared her hope that the next festival will help educate everyone about sustainability.

Last week Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff won Rs 25 lakh over Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 from Amitabh Bachchan. Today, Jackie has been named an ambassador for a festival that brings together environmental awareness and films. The All Living Things environmental film festival will present impactful environmental stories with 44 films from 31 countries.

Calling the film festival a great initiative, Jackie Shroff said: “Let there be more such films around the world, everyone cares about the environment, let’s educate through films. is why it is important to wish good luck and congratulate the ALT EFF team for such a great initiative. It is a great way of education for survival and sustainability. Let us educate ourselves and our children through so beautiful films in such a festival that talks about the basics of forest, water, air, food and soil. “

ABOUT THE NEXT ENVIRONMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL

Founding member and festival director, Kunal Khanna said, “Humans are in an existential crisis and it is because of the way we treat all other species and ecosystems outside of ourselves that we need to. a fundamental and systemic change in the way we operate. Using film as the primary medium, ALT EFF is a platform and confluence that will nurture and inspire critical thinking to address the climate emergency we find ourselves in. “

The list of films includes titles in categories such as Drive Thru Shorts, Activision, Midnight Tails, What’s On Your Plate ?, Sapling Stories, Flux & Form, A Chasm of Hope, New Voices, Deep Dive Features and Programmer’s Choice. A youth category was also introduced this year, as well as international feature films, international short films, Indian feature films and Indian short films.

Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the All Living Things environmental film festival will be held virtually this year.
