Actress-turned-director Revathy and Kajol have teamed up for an upcoming film, titled The Last Hurray. While Revathy will direct the film, Kajol will play the lead role.
Kajol was last seen in Tribhanga. His next film The Last Hurray is inspired by a true story and real characters. The film tells the story of an exemplary mother, Sujata, who faced the most difficult situations with a smile. The film is currently in pre-production and will hit the market soon.
Speaking about her first collaboration with Kajol and choosing this story for her, Revathy shares, “Sujata’s journey in The Last Hurray is extremely close to my heart. It’s not only relatable but also inspiring. When Suuraj, Shraddha and I was discussing this movie, Kajol was the first person that came to mind. His soft but energetic eyes and beautiful smile will make you believe that anything is possible and that is exactly what Sujata is.
