In a tweet, Kamal Haasan revealed that he had a mild cough after returning from the United States. He has now been admitted to a hospital in Chennai. He urged everyone to be careful and added that Covid-19 has not gone away.

KAMAL HAASAN TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Kamal Haasan was shooting for his next film, Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He also hosted the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 weekend episodes. On Sunday, November 21, Kamal Haasan opened up about his trip to the United States and said he would not be skipping a day’s work. He said: “Many thought I would miss this week’s Bigg Boss show because I was in the US. I’m never a person who skips work.”

On November 22, Kamal Haasan revealed that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. His Tamil tweet read: “After I returned from the US I had a mild cough. When I was tested my Covid-19 results were positive. I was quarantined in a hospital from Chennai. People should understand that Covid-19 has not disappeared and must take the greatest precaution (sic). “
