It’s a new year, which means new content to broadcast! Disney + and Hulu both have tons of new releases for streaming services this month.
Added another movie to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney +, Eternals will finally be available for streaming. Fans will be able to see Harry Styles‘makes his MCU debut from the comfort of his own home. The singer-turned-actor made his debut as Thanos’ brother Eros in one of the scenes in the film’s end credits. When half of the Eternals go missing, Harry and Pip the Troll character appear inside their spaceship to inform them that he knows where they’ve been and how to get them back.
“Harry as Eros was really a package for me”, the director of the film, Chloe Zhao, Recount Deadline in November 2021. “I launched the idea of Pip the Troll [voiced by Patton Oswald in Eternals] and Eros at [Marvel boss Kevin Feige] awhile ago, and I love the idea of exploring an Eternal who is beyond Titan and who may have influenced Thanos over the years in the same way the Eternals have influenced us Earthlings. .
The Oscar winner continued, “And then, it wasn’t like I suggested Eros, and let’s go find some actors. I’ve been keeping an eye on Harry ever since. Dunkirk, I thought it was very interesting. After meeting him, I realized he was that character – the same way I chose the rest of my cast. There is so much Eros in him. For me, if he says yes and Kevin says yes, then let’s go. And I’m very happy that they both did.
Harry, for his part, has kept the role a secret.
