Mahesh Babu in Mohanlal, Southern Celebrities Remember Lata Mangeshkar
Lata Mangeshkar died on February 6 after a month-long battle with Covid-19 and other age-related complications. Shortly after the news broke, celebrities and fans took to social media to pay their last respects. Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal and several other celebrities remembered the legendary singer. Lata Mangeshkar will be cremated at Shivaji Park Crematorium today (February 6) evening.

The mortal remains of Lata Mangeshkar will be transferred from the hospital to her residence at Peddar Road. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Mumbai today evening to attend the funeral. Celebrities such as Mahesh Babu, Mohanlal and Chiranjeevi shared their fond memories of Lata Mangeshkar on their respective pages.

Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after testing positive for Covid-19.
