Legendary musician Bappi Lahiri breathed his last on February 15. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Khushbu have taken to social media to offer their condolences on the death of Bappi Lahiri.

Legendary musician and singer Bappi Lahiri died on February 15 at around 11:45 p.m. The singer’s disappearance left everyone in shock. He will be cremated at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai on February 17. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Khushbu and several other celebrities have taken to social media to fondly remember Bappi Lahiri and his contribution to the world of music.
MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI REMEMBERS BAPPI LAHIRI
Megastar Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to share a throwback photo with Bappi Lahiri and wrote, “Rest in peace Bappi da! #BappiLahiri (sic).”
In a note, he wrote, “Deeply distressed by the passing of legendary musical director and vocalist Bappi Lahiri. I had a great association with Bappi da. He gave me many hit charts which contributed immensely to my popularity. He will always be remembered for his unique style and great enthusiasm for life which is reflected in his music. My heart expressed my condolences to all of his near and dear (sic).”

KHUSHBU MOURNS THE LOSS OF BAPPI LAHIRI
Actress and politician Khushbu Sundar took to Twitter to remember Bappi Lahiri. He wrote: “Painted at the death of #BappiLahari da. His music was cult. He introduced us to western music and what disco fusion really was. One of the most creative musicians. He will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace. #OmShanti #RipBappilahiri (sic).”

Bappi Lahiri is survived by two children. His son, Bappa, will perform the singer’s last rites.
