Lady superstar Nayanthara will share screen space with Megastar Chiranjeevi in ​​Mohan Raja’s upcoming political thriller Godfather. The actress has concluded a key program in Hyderabad. The shooting of the film has been progressing at high speed for a few months. Director Mohan Raja shared a photo with Nayanthara and wrote that this is his third consecutive project with her.


Megastar Chiranjeevi has teamed up with director Mohan Raja for Godfather. For those unaware, the movie is an official Telugu language remake of the hit Malayalam movie, Lucifer. The Malayalam film, directed by Prithiviraj Sukumaran, stars Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier.

The filming of Godfather is progressing rapidly in Hyderabad. Director Mohan Raja has shared a photo with Nayanthara and revealed that he has done a key program with her.

Sharing the post, Mohan Raja wrote, “I completed a major program today with female superstar #Nayanthara for our #Godfather. It’s nothing short of joy and satisfaction working with her for the third time in a row #Thanioruvan #Velaikkaran #Godfather (sic).”

Godfather is a political thriller jointly produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. The film features Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana and Gangavva in prominent roles. It is said that Salman Khan will play a role in the film.

Godfather’s technical team consists of cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Sreekar Prasad and composer S Thaman. Godfather will be released in the second half of 2022.
