Neetu Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan are dad’s favourites: Varun Dhawan | Exclusive

Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Neetu Kapoor are busy promoting their family artist Jugjugg Jeeyo. During an interview with IndiaToday.in, Varun and Anil talked about Neetu Kapoor being a favorite of dad. The duo complemented the veteran actress for being herself and effortlessly. In fact, Varun added that Kartik Aaryan is also a dad favorite.

‘MY EQUATION WITH PAPS STARTED BEFORE ALIA-RANBIR’S WEDDING’

Neetu Kapoor surely knows how to win the hearts of the audience. Often, it’s her friendly relationship with the paparazzi that fans adore. We often saw her interacting with the photographers between shots. And when we had the chance to catch up with Neetu Kapoor, we asked him how it felt to get all the love. And she replied: “I really don’t know how I do it, but I like it. I like people and I like talking to them and they (the paparazzi) have now become my friends; all of them. I know them by their names now. That’s a good thing and I appreciate that part. Our equation and relationship started just before Ranbir-Alia’s wedding. They kept asking about the wedding and I kept dodge the question because I didn’t know what to say. But, it’s fun. I love them.”

VARUN SAYS NEETU AND KARTIK ARE PAP FAVES

Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will share screen space with Neetu Kapoor for the first time. Calling it “effortless”, Anil told us: “She’s very effortless no matter what we say. There’s a sense of awareness that comes through but I find her very herself. She’s not only Neetu Singh/Kapoor, she is a successful actress, loved by the masses and everyone loved her when she was doing movies.Then she became Rishi Kapoor’s wife, and she carried him very easily.Rishi Kapoor is the most beloved iconic superstar. She comes from a Kapoor family which is again highly esteemed. It is one of the families that has endured for generations. She is the bahu of this family. Then she is the mother by Ranbir Kapoor. All these things are on her shoulder and she wears all these labels on her shoulder so easily. With all of this, she acts like she’s nobody. I think we should all learn that from her.

Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, jokes, “Two people who are very easy with paps. That’s Neetu Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan. They’re both fighting for the ball.”

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is set to hit theaters on June 24. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Production.
