The first full week of September begins and with it comes quite a few new movies and shows on Netflix. This week, the streaming service is adding a new weekly K-drama, a new season of a fan-favorite series, and a new movie starring Queen Latifah.
The first is Once upon a small town. The K-drama arrives on Netflix on Monday, September 5, 2022. The 12-episode series will have episodes available every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with the season finale on September 28.
The series follows a big-city veterinarian who has to move to a small town in the countryside. There, he meets a policeman for whom he might have feelings. If you’re a fan of romance, you’re very familiar with this trope.

This week also brings Season 5 of Cobra Kai Friday, September 9. The fan-favorite Netflix series is based on The Karate Kid franchise but takes place decades after the events of the cinema.
End of the Road and Cobra Kai season 5 arrives on Netflix this week
In Season 5, Terry Silver runs Cobra Kai and attempts to become the only karate company in the state of California. And with Daniel LaRusso the only one left in the game (Kreese is in jail and Johnny retires), he’ll have to rely on an old enemy, Chozen, to help him stop Terry from taking over.

End of the road is also headed to Netflix on Friday, September 9. The new film stars Queen Latifah, Beau Bridges, Ludacris, Mychala Faith Lee, Shaun Dixon and Francis Lee McCain.
The film follows Brenda and her family on a road trip across the country. But this trip quickly becomes dangerous when they stop at a hotel and hear a murder in the next room. It also doesn’t help that Brenda’s brother takes a bag full of cash and then a killer sets his sights on them. Needless to say, this is not the type of family trip they were expecting.
