The first full week of October has officially arrived and with it a few new movies and shows on Netflix. From a new season of a Netflix Original series to a new horror movie to a new season of a very weird reality show, there really is something for everyone coming to the streaming service this week.
The fourth and final season of On my block arrives on Netflix on Monday, October 4, 2021. The series follows a group of friends as they go through high school while living in south-central Los Angeles. They deal with gangs, school, friendship struggles, romances and everything that comes with being a teenager.
The end of Season 3 saw the friends kidnapped and forced to track down Mafia founder Lil ‘Ricky. He then took a two-year time jump and showed that the friends were no longer in touch. Will they come back together in season 4? We’ll have to wait and see!

Ready for some horror now that it’s scary season? There is someone in your house arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The film tells the story of the graduating class of Osbourne High School.
It seems they are all targeted by a masked killer who reveals their darkest secrets and then kills them. Did I mention that the killer wears a victim’s face mask ?? Sinister! It will take a bunch of aliens to figure out who is doing this and defeat them. (protect your ankles !!)

Sexy Beasts are coming to Netflix this week
More in the mood for a reality show with a twist? Season 2 of Sexy Beasts arrives on Netflix on Thursday, October 7, 2021. The reality show features singles looking for love like any normal dating show, except in this show they wear animal, alien, or face masks. other creatures throughout the date.
You know, sometimes writers have weird ideas. That doesn’t mean we have to act, Netflix!
