Scares is coming to Netflix in October 2022 for a spooky season! The streaming service is adding tons of new original TV shows and movies throughout the month.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star Sofia Wylie will bring her acting skills to Netflix for the next film The School of Good and Evil. Based on the book series by Soman Chainanithe film follows two best friends who “share the most unlikely bonds”.

“Sophie, a golden-haired seamstress, dreams of escaping her dull life to become a princess, while Agatha, with her sinister and quirky aesthetic mother, has the makings of a real witch” , reads the official synopsis of Netflix. “One night under a blood-red moon, a mighty force takes them to the school of good and evil – where the true stories behind every great fairy tale begin.”

The director and producer of the film Paul Feig Told Weekly entertainment in September that he is “always looking for stories of female friendships” to tell, which is what attracted him to this film.

Of course, that’s not the only semi-scary content streaming on Netflix in October. The highly anticipated Nightclub the series is coming – and will bring all the scares. Igby Rigney stars as Kevin, a terminally ill teenager, and couldn’t help but rave about the show.

“I thought it was really cool to see a community of young people come together in such a creative way while going through the terrible experience of being terminally ill,” the actor said.
