New movies in theaters and streaming to watch this weekend: October 22, 2021
I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky and I also believe that Friday is here and we are ready for one of the biggest movies of the year! With this we share the best new movies in theaters and movies available on streaming services that you don’t want to miss.
We never want you to be late to the party for any of the upcoming movies, so we share a list of the best new movies coming out every week, so you can plan your weekend accordingly.
The most anticipated movie of the year for so many (including myself) is hitting theaters and well HBO Max. Some said it was the 2021 sexist movie like we have Oscar Isaac, Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Jason Momoa in the movie. However, Netflix faces the competition with its vampire film Megan Fox and Sydney Sweeney. I’ll let you decide who will win the competition this weekend.
Families are welcoming a unique new franchise-free animated film this week featuring Ron was wrong. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in theaters without being returned by the streaming platform.
We’ve got a socially awkward college kid, a huge sci-fi adventure, and some vampires falling this week.
New films to see this weekend at the cinema
- Ron went wrong
- The French dispatch (Limited edition)
The Ron’s Gone Wrong trailer blew me away because it looks like an outright blast. I’m not the biggest fan of animated movies, but I don’t see how this one won’t be great with a cast like Zach Galifianakis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Olivia Colman, and Ed Helms.
New movies to watch this weekend in streaming
- Dune (HBO Max)
- Night teeth (Netflix)
- Minari (Show time)
We’ve heard the raves, but it’s finally time for us at home to find out if Dune is as good as they say. Fortunately, for those who are not yet ready to go to the movies, Dune simultaneously released on HBO Max. Denis Villeneuve is one of my favorite filmmakers so I hope we’re all raving and raving about the quality of this movie.
What will you be watching this weekend? Will you enjoy a movie in theaters or streamed?
