After considering the comments, the creators of Pushpa decided to delete a controversial scene featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. It’s unclear if they removed more scenes from the movie to reduce runtime.
PUSHPA MAKERS REMOVE CONTROVERSIAL SCENE FROM FILM
Pushpa: The Rise grossed over Rs 100 crore at the global box office in just two days. The film, which released on December 17, is storming the box office and is expected to continue its dream run over the next few days.
As the film lasts three hours, the directors decided to delete one scene. In one scene, Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) and Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna) are sitting and flirting with a car. During the conversation, Pushpa touches Srivalli’s chest and they have a conversation about it. It is said that this scene did not please the family audience. The creators therefore removed this scene.
It is also said that more scenes were removed from the film. There are reports that the cropped version of the film will be released in theaters from Monday, December 20.
PUSHPA CAST AND CREW
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise is based on the life of red sandalwood smugglers in the Seshachalam Forest of Andhra Pradesh. The film will be released in two parts. Part two, Pushpa: The Rule, hits theaters in 2022.
Pushpa features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The film is produced with a huge budget by Mythri Movie Makers.
