Samantha promises a scary movie with a first look at Yashoda. Watch

Samantha is ready for the release of her next film, Yashoda. The first look at Yashoda was unveiled today, May 5. In the teaser, Samantha can be seen waking up from her sleep. She is shocked to see that everything around her has changed. The film promises to be a chilling tale. Yashoda is a supernatural thriller helmed by director duo Hari and Harish.

SAMANTHA’S YASHODA FIRST LOOK IS AVAILABLE

Samantha will next be seen in Yashoda, which will be released in multiple languages. This will mark Samantha’s first pan-Indian outing. The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and will be released on August 12.

On May 5, Samantha took to social media to share YouTube links to Yashoda in different languages. Taking to Twitter, she wrote, “Very excited to bring you the first look at our film #Yashoda (sic).”

In Yashoda’s teaser, Yashoda wakes up to find that the environment around her has changed, including her dress and watch. She then sees a pigeon and tries to catch it.

SIVALENKA KRISHNA PRASAD TALKS ABOUT YASHODA

Yashoda features Samantha, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in key roles.

In a statement, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said, “Samantha has attracted a pan-Indian audience with the web series ‘Family Man 2.’ his role with dedication is commendable. I am proud to watch his performance.”

Sharing an update on filming, Prasad said, “We shot the climactic part in Kodaikanal in April under the supervision of Fight Master Venkat. We have already completed 80% of the filming and accelerated the last schedule in Hyderabad. will end in the 1st week of June. Special effects also play a major role in this film. The work of our director duo Hari-Harish is impressive. We plan to release it simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on August 12.”

Music director Mani Sharma, cinematographer M Sukumar and editor Marthand K Venkatesh are part of the technical team.
