This gave fans the impression that Samantha may not be too happy with the final outing. The reality, however, is quite different. We learned that Sam is “not unhappy at all”. The creators of Shakuntalam have also released an update on the film. Shaakuntalam is a fantasy drama directed by Gunasekhar.
SHAAKUNTALAM MAKERS PUT A COMPLETE STOP TO RUMORS
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently stole the show with her daring comments on Koffee With Karan 7, will star in Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam. The film piqued the curiosity of fans.
The makers, however, have not shared any updates on this. Some fans think this is a sign that Samantha isn’t happy with the way Shaakuntalam has formed, but that’s not the case. The film’s producer, Neelima Guna, also released an update on the status of the film. She shared on Twitter that Shakuntalam is in post-production. Neelima further added that “the difficult intricacies of CG are handled with good precision”.

Post-production work continues apace, the intricate intricacies of the CG are handled with good precision as we prepare to give you a good quality product. Hence the time. At this crucial stage, the team deserves your support and understanding, and I’m sure you will please us! We will be posting more content and updates as we go along. and as we can. Thank you for your love (sic),” his note read.
