Samrat Prithviraj of Akshay Kumar declared tax exempt in Gujarat
Akshay Kumar’s latest release Samrat Prithviraj has been declared tax exempt in Gujarat. Previously, the film was declared tax exempt in three other states – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Akshay Kumar’s film Samrat Prithviraj was declared tax free in Gujarat on Tuesday, June 7. The announcement comes days after three other states, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand, declared the film tax-free.
SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ TAX FREE IN GUJARAT
According to a PTI report, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar star Samrat Prithviraj have been declared tax exempt in Gujarat. The report read: “Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to make Samrat Prithviraj, a Bollywood film about the life of brave Indian warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan, tax free in the state.” Previously, Samrat Prithviraj had been declared tax exempt in three other states – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ TAX FREE IN UP, MP & UTTARAKHAND
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath watched Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj in a special screening and loved it. He quickly declared it tax-exempt in the state. Shortly after the UP CM announcement, Samrat Prithviraj was also declared tax exempt in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Samrat Prithviraj was released in theaters on June 3. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in key roles.
