Silambarasan AKA Simbu was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on December 11. The actor is said to have suffered from a serious viral infection which caused him to be rushed to hospital. Additionally, reports suggest he is not infected with Covid-19. Over the past few weeks, Simbu has been busy filming his next film, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
SIMBU HOSPITALIZED IN CHENNAI
Simbu recently released the teaser for his upcoming film, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film is set to be an action thriller. Filming for the film is progressing at a steady pace and should be finished soon.
On December 11, Simbu was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai. The actor is said to have developed a high fever and a throat infection. The actor is said to have a viral infection and not Covid-19.

THE NEXT SIMBU FILMS
Simbu was last seen in director Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu, which hit theaters on November 25. The political thriller is based on the concept of a time loop. Maanaadu received unanimous criticism from critics and the public.
Simbu is currently filming for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. He also has another film with director Gautham Menon and producer Ishari Ganesh. After concluding Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Simbu will move on to his next film, Pathu Thala.
