TMC MP Dev covid 19 positive

The TMC MP and the Tollywood Dev actor tested positive for Covid-19. However, he remained asymptomatic and is in home isolation, the actor said.

Meanwhile, West Bengal’s COVID-19 tally hit 16 78,323 with 14,022 new cases on Wednesday, 4,949 more than the day before, the health department said.

The positivity rate rose to 23.17% from 18.96% on Tuesday, he said.

The metropolis had 6,170 new infections.

With 17 new deaths, the death toll rose to 19,827, according to a bulletin released by the health department.
