Popular Tamil comedian Vadivelu was released from hospital on Saturday January 1 after treatment for Covid-19. He was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Center after testing positive for the new coronavirus. The hospital bulletin stated that Vadivelu’s stay in the hospital went smoothly and without incident, with no setbacks. The doctor, who treated Vadivelu, said the actor was in good health.

VADIVELU LEAVES HOSPITAL AFTER COVID-19 TREATMENT

Vadivelu tested positive for the new coronavirus on December 23, 2021, after returning from the UK. Actor, director Suraj, music director Santhosh Narayanan and his family have traveled to the UK for pre-production work on Naai Sekar Returns.

On January 1, Vadivelu was released from Chennai hospital. The doctor, who treated Vadivelu, said the actor had made a full recovery and was in good health. The actor was invited to rest at home.

After Vadivelu, director Suraj also tested positive for the new coronavirus. After Vadivelu and Suraj contracted the virus, the rest of the Naai Sekar Returns team went into self-isolation at home.

Naai Sekar Returns is a crime comedy produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions. The film marks Vadivelu’s return after four years. Vadivelu, Redin Kingsley, Anandaraj, Munishkanth, RJ Vigneshkanth and Sathish play important roles in the film.
