Varun Dhawan traffic control revoked by Kanpur police


Varun Dhawan’s traffic challan issued by Kanpur traffic police has been revoked. The actor is currently in Kanpur, filming for his upcoming film, Bawaal. The actor received a challan for cycling without a helmet in the city, photos and videos of which had gone viral on social media.


Kanpur Traffic Police have been followed on social media for throwing a challan at Varun Dhawan as it was a scene from his shooting. They finally revoked Varun Dhawan’s challan today, April 20, as confirmed by Sankalp Sharma, Kanour’s Traffic DCP. He said the disputed bike was linked to the filming of a film and that permits had been taken for it.

On April 16, Varun Dhawan was filming for his movie Bawaal, when he received a challan for riding a bike without a helmet. The number plate on the bike was registered with Pramod Kumar, a resident of Unnao. Authorizations have been taken for the filming of the film. Thus, the Kanpur traffic police was criticized for issuing a challan to Varun Dhawan.

Police Commissioner Vijay Singh had ordered an investigation. After investigation, the challan was revoked by DCP Traffic today April 20 as the Bawaal team had clearances in place.


Fans were thrilled to see Varun Dhawan shoot in Kanpur. The actor is in town to shoot his next film, Bawaal. Varun also gave autographs to his fans in Kanpur. However, a challan was issued to the actor after riding his bike without wearing a helmet. DCP Traffic Kanpur exclusively told that a challan was issued to Varun who was riding his bike without wearing a helmet. Another update also says the license plate violated traffic police guidelines. Another challan will be issued if the rules are violated again.
