Meanwhile, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has recently taken a break from social media as he wants to focus on his upcoming projects. His last release was The Kashmir Files.

The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of Pandits from Kashmir in 1990, during the Kashmir uprising. The film is a true story, based on video interviews of the first generation of genocide victims from the Kashmiri Pandit community. It is a harrowing account of the pain, suffering, struggle and trauma of Kashmiri pundits that also challenges telling facts about democracy, religion, politics and humanity.
