On January 22, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the arrival of their first child through surrogacy. Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas were blessed with a baby girl. According to media reports, their daughter was born 12 weeks earlier than expected. Now, latest reports suggest Priyanka has decided to leave Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, along with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, as she embarks on a new journey.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA TO LEAVE JEE LE ZARAA?

Now, according to a media report, it is said that Priyanka Chopra may leave Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa. The actress was going to star in the film with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. But after embracing motherhood, the actress has apparently decided to retire from the film.

Speculation is rife that Priyanka Chopra wants to devote her time and energy to her baby girl right now. She reportedly gave producers Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani the chance to find another actress in her place.

It should be noted here that Priyanka Chopra had in the past left Salman Khan’s Bharat when she decided to marry Nick Jonas. “While many would give anything for the film or even leave their husbands, Priyanka left the film,” Salman Khan said in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. Katrina Kaif then replaced her in the film.

PRIYANKA-NICK WELCOMES THEIR FIRST CHILD THROUGH GESTATION

On January 22, Priyanka and Nick announced that they were embracing parenthood. They announced that they are now parents to their first child via surrogacy and asked for confidentiality so they can focus on this new phase of their lives. Priyanka wrote, “We are delighted to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully request confidentiality during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you very much (sic).”

ON THE WORK FRONT FOR PRIYANKA

While rumors swirl about Priyanka’s ousting from Jee Le Zaraa, the actress hasn’t given up on her Hollywood plans. The actress will be seen in Citadel with Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. Priyanka will also be part of Text For You with Sam Heughan, Celine Dion and Lydia West.

The actress was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections with Keanu Reeves. The film opened to a thunderous response from critics and fans.
